He was captured in March of this year for medical treatement. The manatee was suffering from injuries sustained after being struck by a boat and cold sickness. 🦈 RESCUE: While patrolling the swim zones at Manatee Public Beach on Friday (1/9), Marine Deputies Judy and Hernandez noticed a shark in distress after becoming tangled in a crab trap buoy line.
