With many traveling for Thanksgiving and the holidays, scammers are stepping up their game. One new scam involves texts or emails pretending to be from the DMV, claiming your license will be revoked because you didn’t pay a toll. This is fake. The DMV will never threaten to suspend your license over an unpaid toll via text or email, and legitimate toll services will never ask for payment through a link.
