Big Bone Lick State Park is a fantastic stop for your travel bucket list. The fossilized remains of giant mastodons, wooly mammoths, and ground sloths were discovered here in the 1700s! Visit natural salt springs, see live bison, and hike on the same trails as Meriwether Lewis. We stayed at the local campground which offers full hookups and sits right by the museum.
