Some people seem overly concerned that we don’t use gait belts all the time. Soooo here ya go. Sometimes we do. It’s about clinical reasoning and how long you’ve known your patient among other factors. Like on a new evaluation we know nothing about that is definitely unsteady = appropriate for a gait belt.
