To counter the extensive use of firewood for cooking, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and cooking stoves have been distributed to Rohingya refugees and host community members since August 2018. IOM, UNHCR and WFP, joining forces under the SAFEPlus project, have since assisted more than 200,000 families. Over the past two weeks, IOM teams have distributed LPG cylinders and stoves to all the fire-affected families in Camp 9 and its surroundings. These will provide refugees and host community members
