🌿STRING OF PEARLS ARE HARD | Follow for daily plant content 🌿I’ve kept this string of pearls alive for over three years, but in the last few months, the plant hasn’t been looking its best . It was drying out too quickly, and it’s old pot, and I wasn’t watering it frequently enough so that resulted in shriveled up pearls and vines, which is not a cute look 🤣I decided to repot into a slightly larger pot, so that it would dry out less often, and I wrapped the vines around the top to help it look

There are a couple of ways to propagate string of pearls. In this video I will demonstrate water propagation: ➡️Cut off one of the strings ➡️Remove the bottom few pearls. Roots will grow from the nodes (where each of the pearls was) ➡️Put in water. SOP propagate VERY quickly, you will get roots in only a few days Same rules apply as for any propagation: ➡️Take only healthy cuttings ➡️Provide bright indirect light. More light speeds up propagation and increases success rate ➡️Replace water weekly
