Emergency crews were called to a Dollar General outside Branson after a sudden sinkhole caused the building and parking lot to collapse without warning. Large sections of pavement dropped several feet as the front of the store tilted and slid into the opening. Cars in the lot shifted toward the hole and nearby power lines were brought down during the collapse. The incident drew a crowd of witnesses and forced officials to close the entire area while structural engineers assessed the damage.#fbli
