Inside our EMT program, students learn far more than riding in an ambulance. Saint George Fire joined our class for an integrated extrication training, showing students how real rescue teams safely remove patients from wrecked vehicles using the jaws of life. From understanding vehicle mechanics to managing tight spaces and keeping patient safety at the forefront, this experience showed what the job is actually like.
