The International Four Days Marches in Nijmegen is an incredible event that the Canadian Armed Forces has participated in every year since 1952. Because of the exceptional circumstances caused by COVID-19, this year’s edition was cancelled. On May 5th and 8th, Joint Task Force Nijmegen participated in a two day, 20 km virtual march in order to highlight the dedication of its members and to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Liberation of the Netherlands and Victory in Europe. JTF- Nijmegen has successfully completed the 2017 International Four Days Marches Nijmegen. The participants marched alongside more than 45 000 civilians from over 50 countries, and lived @KampHeumensoord with over 5 000 military participants from 34 countries. A contingent of #CAF members participated in the Nijmegen Marches Departure Parade today at the Canadian War Museum.
