The CSX fleet of heritage locomotives is growing again with the introduction of CSX 1897, painted in a custom design honoring the Monon Railroad. Also known as The Hoosier Line and the Chicago, Indianapolis, and Louisville Railway, the Monon Railroad connected Chicago and Louisville, operating almost entirely in Indiana.
