They said there were thousands! The researchers were surveying Australia’s Beagle Marine Park in the Bass Strait, between Tasmania and Victoria. The marine park protects rocky reefs, colourful sponge gardens and feeding areas for seabirds. 🪸🐠🐦 💤 While surveying with an underwater camera 65 metres below the surface, they came across thousands of harmless Port Jackson sharks resting on the seafloor. For reasons the scientists couldn’t explain, all of the sharks appeared to be female. A gatheri
