Spring is starting to show its colors around New Braunfels, and one of the first trees to make a statement each year is the Texas Mountain Laurel. With their clusters of deep purple flowers, they’re hard to miss once they start blooming across town. If you want to see a few particularly beautiful ones, take a walk around the grounds near City Hall. Some of the trees there are in full bloom right now, and the fragrance in the air is a bonus many locals recognize right away. You just have to love
