The ducks have now moved to a small 4 acre field right in the middle of the farm that has waist deep water. They will take turns standing on the ice, swimming in circles and then get up and fly two or three circles and then come back within three minutes. Last year, the ducks found this exact same field when it got really cold. Last year it was 90% Mallards, this year It’s 90% pintails.
