Growing up, I always wanted to be Jett Jackson. I couldn’t wait to watch The Famous Jett Jackson and see a Black boy as a secret agent—it meant everything to me. Lee Thompson Young gave us a hero who looked like us, dreamed like us, and inspired us to believe we could be anything. He is Black History, he is Black Knowledge, and he is truly missed.
