Air tankers from CALFIRE Grass Valley Air Attack Base go all-in to stop a new wildfire in the American River Canyon. At 12:46 pm Wednesday CALFIRE firefighters and aircraft were dispatched to assist the Tahoe National Forest on the Palisades Fire located just above Royal Gorge on the north fork of the American River.
