A gorgeous full house this week for Pointe Technique! And fun fact, I adore teaching pointe work. What often surprises me is how many adults come to class having previously studied pointe, yet were never taught the fundamentals. No pre-pointe assessment. No gradual progression. No understanding of alignment, load, or safe strength development. This is what a safe pointe class looks like: Some students in flats, others in pointe shoes. Slow, controlled exercises focused on posture and repetition.
