Image cleaning, at least for the LG OLED 240 Hz monitors, takes around 10 minutes and automatically should be happening every handful of hours or so while pixel cleaning is much more aggressive and lasts only a couple mins or so and automatically happens every 500 hrs or so (2000-2400 hrs on some other models/TVs).

The OLED black level is obviously great, but I wonder if I should make further adjustments. Gamma 2.2 or 2.4, and should I lower black or white stabilizers from their default 10? I'm currently using pixel brightness 60, contrast 85, brightness 50, gamma 2.2, color 50, warm 30, b/w stabilizers at 10, and the image looks really good.

I get that OLED does have the above problems you mentioned in certain cases, but my experience going from a Dell 144hz IPS or a 165hz TN, prior to that I've been known to use 4k LGs as monitors. Compared to my past experiences my LG C1 48" Evo dwarfs all my previous monitor experiences, even set at 117fps lol.

Jun 13, 2023 · But I remember having VRR-flickering on static webpages on my LG C1 when I used a second display simultaneously while second monitor was set to 120Hz or higher. Second monitor at 60Hz fixed the flickering. But that maybe should already be fixed. I don't use a second monitor anymore, so I can't test this again.

Til i found the LG cx 55" - what a picture and the performance with OLed and G sync...awesome and better and smoother than my 34" 3440x1440. Mostly play some Simulations (msfs2020, snow runner, star citizen) Perfect 😍 shooter Games like WarZone i change the ratio to 21:9 ingame.
