Oct 13, 2004 · I am having some trouble with Smart Fasteners (SF). I have a plate with 2 tapped holes in it. The plate has 2 configurations (right hand side and left hand side). The holes are the same size and positions in both configs. The way I created 2 holes was this: I created one hole using Hole Wizard and then feature patterned it to get the second hole.

Apr 26, 2006 · I'm using the smart fastener feature in my assembly (made up of several weldments). When putting a bolt through a hole, (holes created with the hole wizard) I'm not getting the option of a "BOTTOM STACK". As a result, I can't put the nut/washer on the end of the bolt. Is there something I'm doing wrong that I'm not getting the bottom stack option?

I have found several screw compressors where the mechanically coupled lube pump performance dropped off at a faster rate than the equivalent speed reduction in the compressor, resulting in rapid compressor failure running at less than 70% speed.
