The actor-director duo created history as their film Pathaan became the first ever Hindi Film to enter the Rs 500 crore club.

After delivering blockbuster Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan, Siddharth Anand has been roped in for his upcoming action thriller King. Siddharth has replaced Sujoy Ghosh, who was previously cooking the story with Shah Rukh Khan.

“Shah Rukh Khan and Siddharth Anand are among the biggest combinations for Hindi Cinema, and are all set for a reunion on King. The prep work for this action-packed entertainer is underway for the last six months,” the publication quoted a source close to the development.

Shah Rukh Khan teamed up with director Siddharth Anand for the first time in the YRF Spy Universe film, Pathaan, which went ahead to create history at the box office by becoming the first ever Hindi Film to enter the Rs 500 crore club.

Amid much buzz around Shah Rukh Khan's King, it has now been reported that Siddharth Aand has replaced Sujoy Ghosh to direct the entertainer. The film also stars Suhana Khan in a key role.

After the mega success of Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki, Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in his next action entertainer titled King. It was reported that King will be directed by Sujoy Ghosh and co-produced by Siddharth Anand who was also planning its action sequences.
