First Alert Weather Day issued for Wed PM (Feb. 12th) - Thu AM (Feb. 13)
The 13 First Alert Weather Team has issued a First Alert Weather Day for Wednesday afternoon into Thursday morning for accumulating snow and some ice.

Tomorrow is a FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY. It will be cloudy, cold, and windy. Light snow develops by midday, with a dusting to 1″ possible by the evening commute. There is also a slight chance of ice pellets or freezing rain mixing in. Highs stay cold, only reaching the low to mid-30s.
First Alert Weather Day as severe storm threat moves in
The individual storms ahead of a line expected to push through late this evening will have the most likely chance to produce gusty winds and even tornados. A line of storms will develop across the region late today bringing a wave of storms from west to east late evening into the overnight.
FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY: Long-lasting, light snow today
Higher snow totals are expected in southern Siouxland today where 5-7 inches are possible. Along the Highway 20 corridor in central Siouxland, 3-5 inches are expected. In northern Siouxland, the lightest amounts are expected to range between 1-3 inches.
