There’s a new tropical storm in the Atlantic Ocean, and two other disturbances that have a shot to get names as well. The National Hurricane Center named Tropical Storm Dexter late Sunday while it was several hundred miles off the coast of North Carolina. Dexter is headed away from the United States, however.

The storm known as Dexter developed late Sunday and was moving east-northeast on Monday, with maximum sustained winds of 45 mph, according to the National Hurricane Center.
