It’s been announced that Reeves’ The Batman Part 2 (which is not actually called that, it turns out) will be delayed a full year from October 2026 to October 2027.

Andy Muschietti says The Brave and the Bold DCU movie is being “postponed a bit.” In January 2023, Gunn announced that a Brave and the Bold movie was in the works and would be set within the continuity of his and Peter Safran’s DCU.

Having previously been pushed back from 2025 to 2026, The Batman sequel has been delayed again and is now looking at a 2027 release date, Entertainment Weekly has confirmed. It still does not have an official title from Warner Bros.

The Batman 2 has once again been delayed by a year and will now be released in theaters on October 1, 2027. Matt Reeves' sequel to 2022's The Batman was originally set to arrive in theaters in October 2025 and was delayed by a year in March 2024 before this latest delay.
