A man is dead after he was struck by a car on Tuesday at the 2800 block of Augusta Road in West Columbia, according to Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher.

There was a shooting at 1900 Cooney Circle Wednesday evening. Deputies responded and found no gunshot victims. The investigation is ongoing.

We now know the name of a victim who died after a two-vehicle crash in Bamberg County earlier this month, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
