Delhi's air quality remains very poor with an AQI of 340. The India Meteorological Department predicts rain and thunderstorms on Friday and Saturday, with dense fog expected on Sunday. Minimum temperature recorded is 8.

The AQI in all 36 monitoring stations listed under Centre's Sameer app was under 450 on Tuesday, while some were under 400 as well.

Delhi 's air quality index (AQI) continued to remain in the "severe" category on Tuesday, even after light rainfall on Monday. The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) recorded an AQI of 401 at 7:00am suggesting that pollution levels have not improved significantly. According to CPCB guidelines, an AQI between 401 and 450 is "severe."

On Sunday night, the weatherman forecast a generally cloudy sky with light rain in Delhi and the maximum and minimum temperatures at 20 degrees Celsius and 8 degrees Celsius, respectively.
