Animal cruelty arrest made after case involving dog shot by police
49-year-old Jabbar Davis is charged with animal cruelty. As we reported, police were called to help animal control on January 6 to the 600 block of College Highway. They say animal control officers had previously been to the house 16 times because of neglect concerns, and they called for police to help remove a large dog.
