Despite Smith Entertainment Group’s best effort to keep the team-name voting a concealed process, the three potential logos have been leaked online.Utah Hockey Club, Utah Mammoth and Utah Outlaws were presented to the public as the final three names in the running for Salt Lake City’s new NHL team.

Logos depicting the three nicknames under consideration for the Utah Hockey Club were revealed on social media Monday and later confirmed by Daily Faceoff’s Frank Seravalli.

The general consensus seems to be that the Utah Hockey Club name is not highly favored, but the proposed logo associated with the name is. The logo, which has now been leaked, features the head of a mythical, yeti-like snow creature in the shape of a mountain range.

Out of NHL Utah's three logos presented to fans as part of its team name vote, one is easily the best right now.

NHL fans noticed some similarities between the proposed Utah Outlaws logo and the create-a-team logos offered in EA Sports video games.
