The Twins have shut down righty Zebby Matthews due to right shoulder strain. Minnesota placed Matthews on the 15-day Injured list on June 8, after an MRI revealed a moderate subscapularis strain, according to The Star Tribune.

The Twins this morning placed right-hander Zebby Matthews on the 15-day Injured List with a right shoulder strain. Matthews, 25, was recalled from Class AAA St. Paul on May 18 and has made four starts for the big league club, going 1-1 with a 5.21 earned-run average. He has fanned 25 and walked eight in 19 innings.

Chris Paddack was once the biggest question mark in the Twins' rotation, but now they're counting on him to stay healthy and keep rolling.
