The Chicago White Sox are reportedly more likely to pick up the Luis Robert Jr.'s option during the offseason than deal him at the MLB trade deadline.

In both 2026 and 2027, Robert has a team option on his deal. Both are worth $20 million. That means the White Sox can activate those options and pay Robert $20 million to play for them in 2026, and potentially another $20 million to play for them in 2027.
