Tony Vitello was ejected for the fifth time as the Tennessee baseball coach in the fifth inning of the Vols;' 8-1 loss to Auburn.

The Tigers won the series over Tennessee, taking games one and three against the No. 12 Volunteers. Each of the wins were relatively lopsided too, and the one loss came in extra innings after the contest had to be suspended and resumed the next day.

For the first time in six years, Auburn baseball won a series against Tennessee, taking two of three from the sixth-ranked Volunteers over the weekend in Knoxville.
