A shooting at Oakland's Skyline High School injured a juvenile on Wednesday, authorities said. Oakland police said the shooting involved three juveniles and happened just before the end of the school day. Two juveniles were quickly located thanks to the help of staff and students at the school, police said.

A shooting was reported at the Oakland Hills school shortly after 1:30 p.m. The victim was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive.

Oakland Mayor Barbara Lee said she has been in "close contact" with police after a student was shot Wednesday afternoon at Skyline High School and two young people were arrested.
