Quinn Ewers was thought to be completely healthy heading into Saturday’s College Football Playoff game against Clemson. The ankle brace Ewers wore against Georgia in the SEC Championship was not expected to be on.

As the clock wound down in the first half of Saturday’s Texas-Clemson game, Quinn Ewers saw one of his passes land in the hands of Clemson safety R.J. Mickens.
