Combining all allies, the NDA has secured a commanding position, having won 70 seats and leading in 131 seats—well over the 122 seats required for a simple majority. In response to this decisive victory,
NDA touches 200 mark, while the Mahagathbandhan trails at 37. Stay tuned for live constituency-wise updates, party-wise seat tally, and ECI counting trends throughout the day.
ECI data at 12:30 pm showed the BJP leading on 85 seats. While JDU has taken the lead on 78, RJD is ahead on 32. The trends suggest that the NDA may have a bigger win than the exit polls predicted.
On the mandate, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said the results are “truly surprising” and said “we could not achieve victory in an election that was not fair from the very beginning”.
