The dating app behemoth will pay $14 million to settle deceptive advertising charges. It's a relatively paltry sum, but the FTC plans to give it to affected users (two major apps excluded).

In a statement, Audrey Kato, a representative for Match Group, acknowledged the agreement but emphasized that the company had moved on from the alleged deceptive practices, and that the $14 million payment represents “5% of the FTC’s monetary demand.”
