A slight chance of showers is forecast for Memorial Day in Denver, with the odds of rain and thunder increasing in the afternoon.

The cloudy skies that started our Saturday will remain for the day across the eastern half of the state. The mountains, however, will see mostly sunny skies and dry conditions.

At least the three-day Memorial Day holiday weekend isn’t looking too bad, if you don’t mind the chance of rain, according to Denver7 Chief Meteorologist Lisa Hidalgo.
