Ahead of their big title match at TNA Genesis, Matt and Jeff Hardy spoke to Sportkseeda Wrestling's Kevin Kellam. They talked about the match against The Rascalz, Joe Hendry's rise to the top of the division,

Hardy's most recent DUI came in June 2022, when he was arrested in Florida for being almost four times over the legal blood alcohol content limit. This led to him being suspended from AEW, and he wouldn't return to television until 10 months later.

The two are expected to perform and possibly defend their titles at the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio when TNA films a live episode of it weekly TV show, iMPACT! for AXS TV on Jan 23. The next night, TNA will tape matches and angles for future episodes of it shows.

Jeff Hardy would be open to a return to the WWE via their partnership with TNA. A number of TNA stars have found their way to the WWE in the past year via NXT. Wrestlers like Joe Hendry, Jordynne Grace and Alexander Hammerstone have all wrestled in the WWE,
