Former Eagles running back LeSean McCoy congratulated Saquon Barkley who on Sunday broke the team's record for single-season rushing yards.

McCoy, a six-time Pro Bowler and former Eagles star, took to X to congratulate Barkley. “Big s/o to my boy Saquon on breaking my franchise single-season rushing record,” McCoy wrote. “Let’s go get that Dickerson record. See y’all in the N.O. (New Orleans). Super Bowl bound.”

In case you haven't been watching Philadelphia Eagles games all season, Saquon Barkley is pretty good, and he's having an incredible season. Barkley has already broken the Eagles' single-season rushing record with four games to play, and he might also break the NFL's single-season rushing record, which has been in place since 1984.

After a big first quarter where he ran for 109 yards and two touchdowns, the Commanders' defense focused on stopping Barkley without Jalen Hurts on the field. Barkley was limited to 13 yards, for a first-half total of 122 yards.

Barkley needs to pick up the pace if he wants to overtake Eric Dickerson and set a new NFL single-season rushing record.
