Chinese businessman Wang Xiaofei, the ex-husband of the late Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu, has announced that he is severing ties with his mother, Zhang Lan. This decision comes amid ongoing familial disputes and controversies surrounding Hsu’s death.

Barbie Hsu’s husband, DJ Koo, has broken his silence as he grieves his wife's untimely death. The South Korean rapper and former member of dance duo Clon posted a statement on Instagram in both Chinese and Korean. “My angel went back to heaven on February 2, 2025,” DJ Koo, whose real name is Koo Jun Yup said, according to a translation.

Eyewitnesses at Hsu's cremation described Koo as inconsolable. He was reportedly seen in tears as he carried his wife's urn home.

South Korean singer Koo Jun-yup has paid tribute to his late wife Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu who died last week, saying his "angel went back to heaven". In a post on Instagram, Koo added that he was going through "indescribable grief" and a time of "gut-wrenching pain".
