The Winnipeg Jets have acquired veteran defenceman Luke Schenn from the Pittsburgh Penguins for two draft picks ahead of Friday's NHL trade deadline.
Winnipeg sent a second-round pick in the 2027 draft in exchange for the veteran winger. The Toronto resident is in the final year of a six-year deal he signed with the Pittsburgh Penguins back on Canada Day in 2019. The Jets finish off their road trip on Sunday against the Carolina Hurricanes. Puck drop is 4 p.m.
