PITTSBURGH (AP) — Jamie Oleksiak and Eeli Tolvanen scored 49 seconds apart in the third period to erase a one-goal deficit and rally the Seattle Kraken past the Pittsburgh Penguins 4-2 on Tuesday night.

The Penguins suffered their third straight loss on Tuesday, January 14th, falling 4-2 to the Seattle Kraken at PPG Paints Arena. Despite a strong effort throughout the game, the Penguins were unable to overcome the Kraken’s potent offense and ultimately fell short in their bid to break the losing streak.

The Penguins controlled the first two periods and out-shot the visitors 28-10, but they only had a 2-1 lead to show for it. That gave Jarry no margin for error in the third when his defense fell asleep,

The decision comes 18 months after the club signed Jarry to a five-year deal with an average annual value of $5.375 million.
