A yearslong legal battle over the right to an emergency abortion in Idaho has been abruptly upended now that President Donald Trump has moved to drop the high-profile case.

Planned Parenthood has responded to the DOJ's plans to drop the Idaho emergency abortion lawsuit, which was originally filed by the Biden administration.

IDAHO — Planned Parenthood Great Northwest, Hawai‘i, Alaska, Indiana, Kentucky (PPGNHAIK) has launched a new Virtual Health Center, offering telehealth services across Idaho. This initiative aims to bridge the gap for Idaho residents facing significant hurdles in accessing reproductive health care due to state restrictions.
