The Flower is back where it all began. The Pittsburgh Penguins have announced that the club’s legendary netminder Marc-Andre Fleury has signed a PTO with the team and will appear in parts of the team’s Sept. 27 exhibition game against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Marc-Andre Fleury signed a professional tryout contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins on Friday. The 40-year-old goalie, who announced his retirement after playing last season with the Minnesota Wild, will practice with the Penguins on Friday and play in their exhibition game against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Sept. 27 at PPG Paints Arena.
