Iowa State men’s basketball's offense broke down against Kansas as the Cyclones got stagnant. Travis Hines has more on that topic.

A Saturday men’s basketball quadruple-header on Peacock will kick off with second-ranked Iowa State on the road against Cincinnati and trying to bounce back from its first loss of the season. The Cyclones (3-1 Big 12, 16-1 overall) set program records for best start and longest winning streak before an 84-63 road loss Tuesday to Kansas.

The Commodores' second loss came at the hands of reigning national champion Florida, after big man Rueben Chinyelu posted a double-double (20 points, 10 rebounds) in the upset win. Vanderbilt began the season 16-0, which tied the program record for the best start to the season. Florida is 4-1 in SEC play and at the top of the standings.

The Bearcats came into the Iowa State game, 0-3 vs. Top 25 teams with losses to Louisville (6) at Heritage Bank Center, Houston (8) at Fifth Third Arena and UCF (25) in Orlando. (6-23 overall). Saturday marks their first ranked win of the season.

Harris struggled in Iowa State’s loss at Cincinnati but has gotten into a rhythm. She poured in 15 points on 3-of-6 shooting from beyond the arc in a loss to West Virginia. Harris followed that up with her 16-point performance at Colorado, connecting on 5-of-11 shots from the field including 4-of-8 from 3-point range.

According to DeCourcy's projections, Texas A&M, Auburn, Oklahoma State and New Mexico are the last four teams in the tournament, while Indiana, Virginia Tech, UCLA and Ohio State are the first four out.
