The provision would prevent Planned Parenthood from receiving Medicaid funding for care outside of abortion services for one year.

The new law does not expressly name Planned Parenthood, but bars Medicare reimbursements to nonprofits that provide abortions and that also took in more than $800,000 in Medicaid revenue in 2023.
