Andrew James McGann had been hired as an educator by Arkansas' Springdale Public Schools for the 2025-2026 school year, school officials said.

The man arrested in connection with the killing of a couple on a Devil's Den State Park hiking trail will appear before a judge for the first time Friday morning for a preliminary hearing where he is expected to be advised of the charges pending against him,

Clinton and Cristen Brink were attacked at the park about a week ago. Their bodies were found after the Brink's young daughters, who were unharmed, walked up to the visitor's center asking for help.
