Following the verdict, State Attorney Melissa Nelson stated: “Five years ago, Hakeem Robinson and Leroy Whitaker stalked a man and gunned him down in broad daylight because of disputes and drill rap. Today, a jury held them accountable for their brazen crimes.”

Jurors followed up Leroy "ATK Scotty" Whitaker's conviction by doubling up on Hakeem "Ksoo" Robinson in a 2020 hit on Charles "Lilbuck" McCormick.

Ksoo’s co-defendant, Leroy Whitaker, who performs under the name ATK Scotty, was also convicted of first-degree murder, along with burglary with assault or battery, during a noon-hour verdict delivered earlier this week.
