Judge Steven Hippler denied a motion on Tuesday from Bryan Kohberger's defense team that asked to remove the death penalty as a possible punishment.

Defendant asked for ‘everything,’ and ‘everything’ is what he received,” the judge wrote. “Defendant cannot demand everything under the sun and then complain about the weight of all the planets.”
