Hamilton climbed into the SF-23, the team’s challenger during the 2023 season, at Ferrari’s test track on Wednesday and put the machine through its paces. Under F1’s Testing of Previous Cars (TPC) regulations, Hamilton was able to get a feel for Ferrari machinery while driving a car used in a previous season.

Seven-times Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton had his first outing on the track for Ferrari on a misty Wednesday morning at Maranello, realising his dream of driving in the iconic red of the Italian team.

Lewis Hamilton drove a Ferrari Formula 1 car for the first time and described it as “one of the best feelings of my life.”
