FF7 Rebirth's producer wants future Final Fantasy games to ditch "single platform" exclusivity and be available to as many players as possible.

In an interview with IGN Brasil, Naoki Hamaguchi, director of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, and Yoshinori Kitase, producer of the Final Fantasy franchise, discussed the controversy surrounding the two most recent entries in the iconic series, which led to disappointing sales results.

Yoshinori Kitase hints that future Final Fantasy games may be released on multiple platforms, as Square Enix reconsiders its strategy to improve sales.
