ESPN announced a notable decision regarding its college football pregame show after making a deal with YouTube TV.
Disney and Google finally agreed to a deal on Friday night after a lengthy two-week carriage dispute. Sports fans can now rejoice that ESPN, ABC, and other Disney networks are back on the air on YouTube TV after missing two weeks of games in the middle of football season.
Florida vs. Ole Miss kicks off at 7 p.m. on ESPN. Fans can stream the game with the Unlimited plan ($29.99 per month) on the new ESPN app, as well as Fubo, which offers a free trial for new subscribers. The Sling Orange plan also comes with ESPN with a $4.99 day package available (the other ESPN channels cost extra).
Ahead of the Week 9 matchup, two corporate media giants made the sports world suffer when Google, owner of Youtube TV, and Disney, owner of ESPN, were unable to work out an agreement. Youtube TV removed all of Disney's properties from their service,
YouTube pulled more than 20 Disney-owned channels including ESPN and ABC right before Halloween after Google and Disney couldn't come to an agreement. At the time, YouTube TV claimed that it ""will not agree to terms that disadvantage our members while benefiting Disney’s own live TV products."
