These days, the bakery makes over 60,000 king cakes each year and ships nationwide to meet its customer demand. Already, online orders are completely booked for the 2025 Carnival season.

Carnival season is back in Louisiana, and for some, that means it’s time to grab a Dong Phuong king cake. In a post to social media on King’s Day, the bakery listed its official resellers with 29 locations.

Waveland Pharmacy, at 112 Auderer Blvd., is one of only two authorized resellers of Dong Phuong’s king cakes this year on the Mississippi Coast, the bakery’s website shows. The other is Lee’s International Grocery at 917 Division St. in Biloxi.
